縄文時代!の遺跡らしい。
穴しか残ってないんだけど、ここにこういう大きさの穴があって、ここにこれがあるということはおそらく集落はこういう作りでこういう大きさだったというようなことを推理しているらしい!てなことを、考古学って面白いね〜とワクワクしながら語る彼女の奥深さ…!
調べ物好き系にはたまらないんだろな。わかるわかる。

A friend who went to the Sannai Maruyama archaeological sites brought back some souvenirs for us! It's a site from the Jomon period, about 10,000 years ago. IIRC..
There, only the holes remain now, but from the size and the placement of those holes, archaeologists can infer things like how big the settlement was and what kind of structures stood there. As she excitedly talked about all of this, saying how fascinating archeology is, I couldn't help but admire the depth of her curiosity.
People who love researching things must find this kind of stuff irresistible. So do I.
And the souvenir? Cookies made with acorns! The same kind that people in the Jomon period used to eat. How witty is that!
