Thoughts and notes of a researcher in plant genetics and nutritional epidemiology in Japan and the U.S. with a wide range of interests - choral activities, photography, nature, travel, and drawing. L'épanouissement personnel means personal development and fulfillment. Still in the middle of it, enjoying the process.

Sushi
I came back to Fukuoka for a visit and had special sushi dinner! Delicious fish gave me the energy to go through this week. I also found a book "Justice" I was looking for (luckily!), and enjoyed the lively atmosphere in downtown Fukuoka.

It was so cold that l couldn't use chopsticks properly.Over 1200 m the blanches were flosen and some snow accumulated on them vertically due to the direction of the wind.
After this hardest day, only two to go...

Eel
Near my apartment are several eel restaurants along the big road. A lot of shops, restaurants and even a bookstore are walking distance from my place. I think it's more convenient if I hang around by bicycle..
