did not check, but it costs some money to make your article open access
(so that not subscribers of the journal can also read your manuscript).
But
if you are not publishing in all black and white, without public
access, it is completely free. It does not cost to have your manuscript
reviewed by reviewers. It is a volunteer work for researchers to
peer-review. It gives them extra work, thus takes a lot of time, but it
is a necessary step to assure the quality of the research work to be
published.
Thankful to the reviewers, even though it was a long and tough way to edit my manuscript while taking classes..
