新緑の金戒光明寺 Konkai Komyoji in late spring

 Visited Konkai Komyoji temple on a hilltop.  It was serene, deserted, and yet full of vive of young leaves making a stark contrast with the blue sky.  I couldn't believe my eyes at first.  No words can fully describe its pleasant mixture of beauty, solemnity, and charm.  There are century-old cemeteries, which led to the lush green spot in front of the main building.  It felt like I wandered into the "Pure Land with Ultimate Bliss", Buddhists' equivalent of heaven.  I'm so glad that I dragged myself out of home and came to see this place.

 金戒光明寺と真如堂に行ってきました。一歩入ると別世界、静謐と新緑と雲ひとつない青空の織りなす、この世のものとは思えない景色でした。何というか…極楽浄土に迷い込んだかな？と思うくらいに。墓地に囲まれているけど、すごく明るくて豊かな雰囲気。不思議なものでした…　連休は家に引きこもっていたけど出てきてよかった…。紅葉の名所は青もみじも美しい、間違いない。
