ワトソンが自己紹介する場面の謎。"I keep a bull pup"、フレンチブルドッグの子犬を飼っている、という意味のことを言っていたが、作中には出てこない。それもそのはず、"keep a bull pup"は、癇癪持ちだという意味のスラングだったそう！ いつもは穏やかなワトソンだけど、腹が立った時は激しいのかもしれない…。
