Almost went to the top of the mountain... it's a very good hike even to the middle of it. Gotta re-try soon. I like it that it's an efficient way of exercising in a short period of time. I can go there any time pretty easily as it's in my neighborhood.
It was kind of crowded. I saw elementary school students visiting the shrine on masse. One of them was on a wheelchair, and a few peers were pushing her wheelchair as if it were nothing. It seemed completely normal for them to push her wheelchair as a friend. It was a heartwarming sight, and it signifies the importance of experiencing diversity, inclusion, and mutual help at an early age.
