Had a very nice French lunch on Sunday.. With great food and great company, it was a wonderful reward after a week with a heavy workload.
Amuse bouche ~a little amusement~ carrot mousse
Baguette and a squid ink roll with black garlic, tomato, and 3 kinds of olives.
Appetiser - a meat terrine with raspberry sauce with beanprouts and picked vegetables.
Soups with different temperatures - milk mouse, warm mushroom soup, and cold pumpkin soup. They all taste amazing by themselves or mixed. Its presentation in a sparkling wineglass is visually pleasing and makes you feel effervescent indeed.
Desert - Mont Blanc cake with mascarpone cheese ice cream (?) with a hint of vanilla. Very tasty.. even if you are already full, this is quite inviting and appealing.
The restaurant is designed like an artic with blue and white interior. Thin white curtains and natural light here and there make it as a hidden-gem French bistro. Definitely wanna come back!!
