東寺で、陶板に色を付けて何回も焼成して描く陶彩画展があってた。見る角度で色が変わり、本当に綺麗だった。また絵を描いたりしたくなった。
Happened to find an exhibition of "paintings" on flat ceramic surfaces at Toji temple. They are made by coloring one layer followed by kilning, and that's repeated dozens of times, giving depth and a kind of a holographic effect to the picture. The colors looked different when viewed from various angles. Very inspiring!
