Falls Park on the Reedy 滝のある公園

Downtown Greenville has a waterfall with a suspention bridge where pedestrians can overlook the waterfall.  It is a very nice park to take a walk in.  Autumn leaves were beautiful, too.  I got to see a good friend of mine that I met in Michigan!  She is living in SC now, and it was a miraculous reunion for both of us!  She is the one who drove me to the airport when I moved out of the US.  At that time, we both thought we wouldn't see each other again in person.  But what a happy surprise.  We had tacos for early dinner and had a wonderful time chatting on the outdoor seating facing the river.  I value our friendship!

グリーンビル市の中心部には滝があるのです、そして滝を見渡せる歩行者用の吊り橋があります。川沿いをぐるりと散歩できて、とてもいい感じの公園です。 紅葉もきれいでした。素晴らしいタイミングだった。ミシガンで知り合った仲の良い友達にも会えたのでとても嬉しかったです。彼女は今サウスカロライナ州に住んでいて、奇跡的な再会でした！ 彼女は、私がアメリカから引っ越すときに空港まで送ってくれたのですが、その時は内心、もうまた直接会うことはないだろうと、現実的に考えてそう思っていました。 しかし、なんと嬉しいサプライズ！ こんなことってあるんですね。早めの夕食にタコスを食べ、川に面した屋外の席でおしゃべりに花を咲かせました。この友情を大切にしたい...！

On the right, the brick building used to be a carriage factory, and in the back is an outdoor event venue.  What a reflection. 右手前のレンガの建物は、かつて馬車を製造していた工場。その奥は、屋外イベントスペース。

She gave me such a wonderful gift... Custard's Curated Curiosity Box, where, the gift giver tells the shopstaff about the recipient, and they will pack a gift with the recipient in mind.  Very interesting, and I love all the items they packed!  素敵なおみやげをもらいました。お店の人に、プレゼントを渡したい人の趣味や好みを伝えて、お店の人がプレゼントを選んでくれるというシステム。面白いそして素晴らしい。使うのが楽しみ。
