Yamakasa

I went to see 博多祇園山笠, the biggest festival in Fukuoka city, with my friends this morning. A lot of men in each 8 teams ran in the grey dawn.

The street they ran was full of people watching them and taking pictures.

I remembered clearly this day of last year I went to see the festival early in the morning with international students. We went there after spending all night at karaoke, but we were very excited rather than exhausted.

This festival really took me back. Time has passed very very quickly.

Summer has just come.
